part of a large amount of flown Shuttle hardware
that was obtained in trade in 2010

A fascinating display: space-flown cinnamon basil
seeds from Endeavour's STS 118 mission, framed
with a control packet of identical unflown seeds.
These were sent out to participating schools in the
US, so unopened packs are now quite rare!

This beautiful acrylics contains a piece of the
protective fiberglass shutters from the launch
towers used at launch complex 36 at the Cape.
The green shutter segment was in action during
the launch of 146 Atlas rockets from 1962, being
recovered after the demolition of the towers in 2007 .

used in the Thermal Protection System of the Orbiters.
In this case, all were removed from OV-104 Atlantis
following its seventh mission to the Mir Space Station

Embedded in this 4"x2½" lucite cylinder is
an authentic piece of Skylab flown insulation
around 1½"x1" in size. This was obtained from
wreckage recovered at the Australian crash site.

These tomato seeds flew aboard OV-104
shuttle Orbiter Atlantis on its STS-86 mission.
The seeds were intended for experimental use
