This item is a thermal
tile, one of 38,000 that
made up the heat-shield of the Russian shuttle
'Buran'. Each tile has a specific number, shape
and size, identifying its exact location on the
air-frame.The tile is from the second Buran built
and measures 6"x4"x.75"This is a very
rare
opportunity to own an entire thermal tile, rather
than the tiny fragments offered elsewhere!

A
black thermal tile from Buran 2 (see
picture above!)
These tiles are designed to take the even more fierce
frictional heating encountered on the leading edges
of the control surfaces. Again, the entire tile is offered
for sale at a very competitive price!
All our tiles are framed in beautiful ash boxes! |

This
attractive commemorative medal is made
entirely from metal flown in space as part of a
Soyuz spacecraft. It is sold in a glazed frame with
an accompanying printed sheet that underwrites
its provenance. A Nice item! |

We have available
a small number of these
attractive baseball caps: each has a square
of parachute material from Soyuz TMA-4
sown to it. This spacecraft spent over six
months at the ISS, and the caps are sent
with a certificate of authenticity hand-signed
by Cosmonaut Alexander Paleschuk. These
would make a superb present: but we also
have one signed by Anatoli Artsebarsky
and another by Salizhan Sharipov

This
velcro-backed name tag was made for
Cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov.
Although
not flown into space, it is NOT a copy, but
an authentic item: a fantastic addition to
anyone's collection! Also available is a
similar display featuring a tag made for
Cosmonaut Valery Tokarev. |

A working
lamp from a Soyuz spacecraft.
The item was removed following recovery
of the descent module and purchased from
a contact at the Baikonur facility. As always,
this rare item is offered in a hand-made glazed
ash display box. We have several similar items
available, each from a very reliable source!

A
section of parachute strap from Soyuz
TM-8.
This intriguing item is supplied with a certificate
handsigned by Cosmonaut A. Serebrov

A Soyuz
launch key that
has been into space!
This key may or may not have been used to launch
a Soyuz mission, but it certainly was taken up to the
ISS! It is offered in a hand-made glazed frame with
full details and a picture of it aboard the station!

|
 |
This item
is a porthole bolt from the Mir Space
Station. Although we cannot guarantee this as a
flown item, we CAN guarantee it is a genuine
Mir component! As always, the item is presented
in a hand-made beechwood box-frame.

|
 |
We are reliably
informed that Cosmonauts
routinely smuggled Vodka aboard Mir to help
while away the long months they often spent in
orbit! Furthermore, this sachet of Stolichnaya
is reputed to have been made for that express
purpose! A fascinating item!
